Statement:
The Interior
Salish Employment and Training Society Board encourages self-sufficiency
and addresses locally defined needs and priorities of aboriginal
communities through employment and training programs and services.
Mandate:
The mandate
of the Interior Salish Employment and Training Society Board
is:

To set up policies that meet the needs defined by the people
that we serve and

To manage programs and services tailored to meet the locally
defined needs
The main
objective is to provide training and/or work experience for members
of our communities that have experienced long term unemployment,
opportunities for our youth, enhance the skills of our employed
and to develop a skilled work force for our Aboriginal entrepreneurs.
